Aims & Scope

Media and Culture is an international, open access, electronic and peer-reviewed journal that aims to provide qualified scientific contributions to the field of cultural studies and communication. Published twice a year, in June and December, the journal seeks to contribute to the fields of cultural studies and communication at national and international level with its interdisciplinary feature.

The journal provides an academic platform where scholars working in these fields can share their work and research, while realizing these goals, the journal acts in accordance with the principles of honesty, transparency, accountability, and scientific ethics.

The scope of the journal includes original, qualified theoretical and/or applied articles in Turkish and English in the fields of cultural studies and communication. The main topics of the journal are:
