Mediapolis: Aims and Scope

Mediapolis – Revista de Comunicação, Jornalismo e Espaço Público is a scientific publication of the Research Group in Communication, Journalism, and Public Space, of the Interdisciplinary Studies Center - CEIS20, aiming to occupy a reference place in the Lusophone and Latin American space, in the publication of articles and investigations, in the area of Media Journalism, giving particular emphasis to aspects related to their incidence in public space, political systems, and democracy.

The journal is a privileged pole of dissemination and internationalization of the research work of the Research Group in Communication, Journalism, and Public Space, and should give particular attention to the development of new research lines and the promotion of the work of new researchers.

The journal will prioritize digital support and establish itself in the international space, prioritizing the dissemination of texts in Portuguese. Articles in English, French, and Spanish are also accepted, accompanied by their respective translations into Portuguese.
