Since its appearance, the journal has been positioning itself as supranational and interstate one.

It was created to establish links and to unite global academic activities in archaeology, history, numismatics, sigillography and epigraphy.

The journal’s main goal is to inform academic community on new results and achievements in the field of the journal’s scholarly interests.

MAIASP facilitates professional communication between a wide circle of specialists in archaeology, history and other historical disciplines, as well as enables familiarization of readers worldwide with recent academic research and developments.
