Aims & Scope

Mandenkan is a journal specialising on the study of Mande linguistics of all domains.

It was founded in 1981 and occurs annually.

An electronic version of all issues is available online.

Mandenkan accepts articles in French and English on all aspects of Mande linguistics from a diachronic, typological or descriptive perspective.

We also publish original data from language corpora, especially of little known languages.
