Aims & Scope
Maal og Minne is the official journal of Bymålslag, established in 1909 by Magnus Olsen. Our primary aim is to publish contributions that shed light on various aspects of Norwegian language, language heritage, medieval literature, place names, and folklore.
We publish two issues per year, featuring articles and reviews in Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, English, and German. Our goal is to provide a platform for scholars and researchers to share their knowledge and insights with a global audience.
By publishing high-quality research and reviews, we aim to contribute to the advancement of linguistic, literary, and cultural studies in Norway and beyond.
