Aims & Scope

Mersin University School of Medicine Lokman Hekim Journal of Medical History and Folk Medicine is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes scientific studies on the socio-cultural dimensions of medicine and health, including the history of medicine and ethics, folklore, health sociology, and folkloric medicine practices.

Our aim is to contribute to the increase of qualified scientific knowledge in the literature by publishing high-quality research articles on these subjects.

Double-blind peer review process is used to ensure the quality and integrity of the published articles. Our editorial board and reviewers carefully evaluate manuscripts to ensure they meet the journal's style and standards.
