Aims & Scope

Larus is a scientific journal of the Institute of Ornithology, Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts.

It publishes scientific and professional ornithological papers as well as short notes on interesting faunistic, ecological and ethological observations.

The journal mainly focuses on Croatia and the wider region, but papers from other countries are also welcomed.

Manuscripts are internationally peer-reviewed.

Scientific papers must be written in English, while short notes can be either in English or Croatian.

The journal publishes papers without any charges to authors.
