The study of past landscapes – and their continuing presence in today’s landscape - is part of one of the most exciting interdisciplinary subjects.

The integrated study of landscape has real practical applications for a society navigating a changing world, able to contribute to understanding landscape and helping shape its future.

It unites the widest range of subjects in both Arts and Sciences, including archaeologists, ecologists, geographers, sociologists, cultural and environmental historians, literature specialists and artists.
