Aims & Scope

kommunikation@gesellschaft ist ein interdisziplinäres Online-Journal, das der Untersuchung von Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien gewidmet ist.

Das Journal konzentriert sich auf die Nutzung medienkultureller Artefakte durch das Subjekt, wobei technische Aspekte, Funktionen von Geräten, Umgang und soziale Praxis, sowie Inhalte der Nutzungen und Dienste „alter“ wie „neuer“ Medien interessieren.

Unser Ziel ist es, einen Austausch zu begründen, der sich nicht zwischen kulturpessimistischen Ressentiments und technikeuphorischen Beschwörungen erschöpft, und dabei eine historisierende Perspektive zu bewahren, die Technikgläubigkeit und Kulturpessimismus begünstigen.
