Kazakhstan Archeology

Aims & Scope

“Kazakhstan archeology” (Қазақстан археологиясы) is an international peer-reviewed scientific journal devoted to topical problems of archaeology of Kazakhstan and steppe Eurasia in general from the Stone Age to the late Middle Ages and related historical and natural science disciplines.

The purpose of the journal is to create a unique communication platform for specialists from Kazakhstan and neighboring regions to discuss topical issues of archaeology of Kazakhstan and steppe Eurasia in general.

The journal publishes the results of the latest field and interdisciplinary research.

The journal is published four times a year.

Articles are published in Kazakh, Russian and English.

All publications are reviewed and accompanied by a brief summary in Kazakh, Russian and English.

The journal is intended for Kazakh and foreign specialists, young scientists interested in topical problems of archaeology of Eurasia.

All articles submitted to the editorial office of the journal are subject to mandatory review.

You can read the requirements for the design of articles in the section “Rules for the design of manuscripts.” The full texts of all publications are publicly available in the “Archive” section.

The journal provides open access to published content for which no fee is charged.

The principle of “Open Access” grants the right to free use of published materials: to read, download, copy, distribute, refer to the full texts of articles published in “Kazakhstan archeology”.

Journal materials cannot be used for commercial purposes.

All material presented in the journal is copyrighted.
