Jurnal Review Politik (JRP) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal that provides an academic platform for the study of Islam, politics, and governance from both theoretical and empirical perspectives?published biannually by the Department of Islamic Political Thought , Faculty of Ushuluddin and Philosophy , UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya , Indonesia.

The journal aims to advance critical and comparative studies of Islamic political thought and its expressions in contemporary Muslim societies.

JRP particularly emphasizes the intellectual, ethical, and socio-political traditions of the Southeast Asian and Malay?Indonesian Muslim world within the broader global discourse on Islam and politics.

By bridging classical Islamic thought and modern political realities, JRP aspires to contribute to the rethinking of governance, democracy, and justice through an Islamic civilizational lens.
