JSFA Reports publishes manuscripts related to the following areas which are currently outside the scope of JSFA: regionally focused investigations, survey studies (with a minimal hypothesis), process optimisations, and confirmatory studies that apply a known experimental design on another region, a similar classification of plant material, or other slight variation.
