Aims & Scope

The journal's aim is to promote improvement in health care and health education.

Primarily, being a medical journal it covers all fields focusing in the areas of health including basic & clinical medical sciences, medical & dental subspecialties, rehabilitation medicine, allied health sciences, clinical psychology, public health and medical educational research.

Original research articles, review articles, practical updates, case reports, short communication, opinion articles, letter to editor are being evaluated by editorial board and peer reviewers before publication in the journal.

JUMDC follows the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) uniform requirements for manuscripts submitted to medical journals (updated on http://www.icmje.org/recommendations/).

JUMDC also follows the policies of World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) and Pakistan Association of Medical Editors (PAME).
