Aims & Scope
JESLA is the Journal of the European Second Language Association (EuroSLA). It publishes high-quality, peer-reviewed open-access articles in the field of second language research. Its aim is to maintain a uniquely transdisciplinary approach to promoting the understanding of second language learning and use, and stimulating the debate on the bilingual and multilingual individual and society.
The scope of the journal covers fundamental and applied issues in second language learning, in children, adolescents and adults; second / bilingual language use and processing, language representation, bilingual cognition, as well as second language assessment and education. JESLA welcomes empirical, theoretical and methodological research papers, including meta-analyses.
The readership includes second language researchers from the fields of linguistics, psychology, sociology, education, as well as related sub-disciplines and interdisciplinary areas.
