Aims & Scope
The Society produces an annual journal (Journal of the Anthropological Society of South Australia [ISSN 1034-4438]) for subscribed members which is published in December of each year.
The journal is indexed in Scopus, listed on Uhlrichsweb and in the 2015 ERA journal list.
The journal primarily publishes articles relating to Indigenous Australian anthropology, archaeology, history and linguistics although broader topics related to all of these disciplines may also be included.
Editions are regularly structured around particular themes, however, non-themed editions may also be published.
Additional special editions may also be produced at the discretion of the editor/s.
