Journal of Rural Development (JRD) is published quarterly in March, June, September and December by the National Institute of Rural Development, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad - 500 030 The Journal aims at promoting study and research in rural development.

It seeks to uncover links between the social sciences and rural development and to forge and strengthen them where necessary.
