Aims and Scope
The Journal of International Legal Communication (JILC) aims to bridge the gap between law, language, and communication, transcending scientific, geographical, political, and social divisions.
JILC is an interdisciplinary journal that explores various aspects of legal communication, including the effectiveness of law, information retrieval, translation of legal acts, harmonization and globalization of law, communication between lawyers and laypeople, and the impact of new technologies on legal professions. By bringing together experts from legal, social, and human sciences, JILC fosters a comprehensive understanding of legal communication in international, European, comparative, and empirical contexts.
JILC is a peer-reviewed publication that publishes methodological and empirical research from diverse countries and scientific schools, providing a platform for interdisciplinary approaches to legal communication.
