Aims & Scope
The Journal of Health Inequalities is a peer-reviewed publication that seeks to address the pressing issue of health inequalities worldwide. We welcome research and review articles in the fields of public health and medical care, with a focus on interventions promoting individual and community health, health education, and prevention of chronic and acute disease.
Our scope includes, but is not limited to, papers addressing health inequalities and differences between regions, countries, and different social, economic, and demographic groups. We are committed to publishing high-quality research that contributes to the understanding and mitigation of health disparities.
The journal follows the ICMJE policies and recommendations, including the registration of clinical trials in a public trials registry at or before the time of first patient enrollment. We also have procedures in place to prevent ghostwriting, guest authorship, and plagiarism.
