Aims & Scope

The Journal of Education Human Resources (JEHR) is a quarterly, peer-reviewed journal that serves as a platform for research, analysis, case studies, and field-based commentary on human resource issues (e.g., professional development, leadership, evaluation, compensation, hiring) in the education sector.

The journal is peer-reviewed by top scholars in the field, with a 40% publication acceptance rate, and an aim to leverage the capacity of peer-reviewed research to help address some of the most pressing human and fiscal resource problems in education.

As a “user-inspired” interdisciplinary journal, JEHR publishes articles that are a blend of scholarly, empirical, and field-based reflection addressing contemporary human resource and finance issues in education, spanning across the P-20 continuum from a variety of perspectives.

JEHR provides researchers, policymakers, practitioners, faculty, and consultants access to cutting-edge ideas and current knowledge, based on the evolving needs of the field.

Given the interrelated nature of funding and human resource issues, the journal also has a special focus on topics related to education finance.
