The Journal of Contemporary Issues in Education (JCIE) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that publishes original articles on a wide range of education topics from diverse contexts.

We welcome submissions that take a critical and interdisciplinary approach to issues in education, including but not limited to global education, foundations of education, citizenship and human rights education, social justice and related issues, and policy studies in education.

Suggestions for special issues and book reviews are also welcome.
