Abbreviation : J. Chromatogr. Open
Aims & Scope
Journal of Chromatography Open is an international, peer-reviewed gold open access journal focusing on all aspects of fundamental and applied separation science.
The scope is to establish an innovative forum of new and significant advances in separation science.
Journal of Chromatography Open covers each step in the whole analytical procedure, and the manuscripts must demonstrate a clear methodological novelty in sampling, sample preparation, separation/analysis, detection, such as mass spectrometry and/or data handling/analysis for the publication.
Separation techniques include chromatography with its related techniques, field-flow-fractionation, electromigration techniques, hyphenated and other multi-dimensional techniques and different microanalytical systems.
When analytical techniques/methods contain a significant element of novelty in applications, they will be considered, but those based on routine type or official analytical or preparative protocols, or those having only new sample matrix, will not be published without any broader significance of the methodology involved.
By providing immediate and unrestricted access to the latest research, Journal of Chromatography Open will certainly accelerate the freely accessible high-standard knowledge of different methodological discoveries.
