Aims & Scope
The Journal of Astronomical History and Heritage (JAHH) was founded by John Perdrix and Wayne Orchiston in 1998.
The journal publishes refereed research papers, review papers, short communications, IAU reports, and book reviews on all aspects of astronomical history and heritage.
This includes studies that place the nature and evolution of astronomy in a political, economic, social, historical, and cultural context.
JAHHÂ is published by the Centre for Astronomy Research & Development at Rizal Technological University (RTU) in the Philippines.
The journal publishes issues quarterly in March, June, September, and December.
All papers are refereed prior to publication.
JAHH is published online only and is fully open-access.
There are no access or reader charges but as of 2022, the journal will impose publication page charges. JAHH has been approved for inclusion in Scopus and is finalising formal ranking through them.
