Aims & Scope
•The Journal of African Languages and Literary Studies (JoALLS) is a peer-reviewed, tri-annual journal aimed at advancing both theoretical and empirical research, inform policies and practices, and improve the understanding of the impact of academic research on the lives of Africans.
The journal provides a forum for the publication of articles from academics and policymakers on African Languages and Literature.
Articles not dealing with Africa, but whose themes could be of relevance to African scholarship, are also welcome. •The journal has a Virtual Editorial Assistant (VEA) who is attached to the journal’s editor and who liaises between the journal’s editor and the Authors.
The VEA receives and acknowledges the receipt of papers on behalf of the editor.
The VEA also creates a database of relevant reviewers and on the guidance of the editor, approaches potential reviewers with a list of articles available to be reviewed.
This enables the potential reviewer to select from the list an article which he/she really has an interest it.
