Цели и задачи журнала «Известия Алтайского государственного университета»:

Основной целью журнала является публикация результатов научных исследований в избранных направлениях (физико-математические и исторические науки) с учетом новейших отечественных и мировых достижений по этим направлениях.

Наша основная задача:

Повышение уровня научных исследований за счет оперативной публикации наиболее значимых результатов.

Мы также стремимся:

Расширить взаимодействие российских и зарубежных ученых, работающих в указанных направлениях;

Информировать специалистов о новейших методах и методиках исследования;

Повысить профессиональный уровень научных работников, преподавателей, аспирантов и студентов.
