Aims & Scope
Although the journal's readership is primarily sociologists, it also seeks to appeal to – and welcomes submissions from – scholars in other social science disciplines including anthropology, geography, politics, social policy, social work, and social care.
The journal seeks to publish peer-reviewed quantitative and qualitative or mixed-method work.
The journal is particularly interested in attracting comparative papers having to do with other small societies, but which need not necessarily be related to Ireland.
The journal's goal is to render a first editorial decision on every manuscript submitted within 5 weeks.
