Aims & Scope
The primary aim of the International Journal of Exercise Science (IJES) is to engage undergraduate and graduate students in scholarly activity as authors and reviewers as they develop into professionals.
The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following sub-disciplines: biomechanics and neural control, cardiovascular physiology and metabolism, clinical exercise physiology, fitness assessment, metabolism and nutrition, physical therapy and athletic training, sport psychology and behavior, and sports science.
In accordance with this aim, on manuscript submissions it is mandatory that at least one author be a student that has played a prominent role in the overall study.
