The International Journal of Educational Development in Africa (IJEDA) aims to promote African-centred research and scholarship that challenges systemic oppression and honours local traditions and epistemologies.
We welcome submissions that engage with broad definitions of education and development, including topics such as African indigeneity, social reproduction, democratisation, and decolonialities.
Our journal encourages intersectional approaches that consider the complexities of identity, including race, gender, sexuality, class, religion, language, geography, culture, and disability.
