Aims & Scope

The primary objective of the International Journal of Ambient Computing and Intelligence (IJACI) is to provide comprehensive coverage and understanding of cutting-edge research in fields as diverse as distributed computing, network security, human computer interaction, mobile and ubiquitous computing, location positioning systems, and other interdisciplinary areas which all contribute to ambient intelligence (AmI).

The secondary objective of this journal is to broaden the overall body of knowledge regarding how the ambient intelligence paradigm builds upon ubiquitous computing and human-centric computer interaction design and is characterized by systems and technologies that are embedded, context-aware, personalized, adaptive, and anticipatory in the sense that they can anticipate desires without conscious mediation.
