The Journal Ilha do Desterro publishes, since 1979, unpublished articles and reviews in the areas of English, Literature and Cultural Studies.

Ilha do Desterro is a periodical from the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Letras: Inglês e Literatura Correspondente from Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil, which publishes three times a year - once every four months.
