Aims & Scope
Humanitas Taiwanica is a semi-annual (May and November), cross-disciplinary academic journal in the humanities hosted by the College of Liberal Arts, National Taiwan University.
Since its very first issue in 1950, Humanitas Taiwanica has sought to publish the finest scholarship across an extensive variety of subjects in the humanities, and has always maintained its highest standards of rigor and principles of fair play in the peer review process.
The journal is committed to promoting the development of and offering innovative perspectives on humanity studies, as well as establishing a base for constructive dialogues to facilitate transcultural exchange across all disciplines.
We accept research essays from a wide spectrum of fields, including literature, history, philosophy, art, music, theater studies, linguistics, anthropology, library and information science, and other humanities-related disciplines.
Submitted manuscripts are accepted all year round and must be written in either traditional Chinese or English.
We sincerely welcome original contributions from the world academic community.
