Hoehnea is the official publication of Instituto de Pesquisas Ambientais of Secretaria de Meio Ambiente, Infraestrutura e Logística do Estado de São Paulo.
The journal accepts original articles and scientific notes.
Opinion articles, reviews and series such as Special Articles require consultation with the Editorial Board.
Publishes in areas of Taxonomy, Systematics, Ecology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Plant Anatomy, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Phylogeny, covering studies in Vascular Plants, Avascular Plants, algae, fungi, and Biodiversity.
The manuscripts are published continuously and evaluated by two or more experts (single-blind review).
Texts can be published in Portuguese, English or Spanish.
