Aims & Scope

History and Theory publishes articles and review essays principally in these areas: critical philosophy of history; speculative philosophy of history; historiography; history of historiography; historical methodology; critical theory; time and culture; and history and related disciplines.

Each annual volume consists of four numbers; the fourth number is usually in the form of a Theme Issue.

The journal is available in print form, and is also available in electronic form to all who subscribe to the print edition.
