The European Journal of Health Communication (EJHC) is a peer-reviewed open access journal that aims to represent the international character of health communication research, given the cultural, political, economic, and academic diversity in Europe.
EJHC welcomes the full breadth of health communication research, focusing on issues such as media coverage of health topics, health literacy, information seeking behavior, usage and effects of health messages, and communication strategies for prevention campaigns.
The journal publishes original research papers, theoretical and methodological papers, review articles, living reviews, and brief research reports in English, covering topics such as health technologies, social and community issues, patient-provider interactions, intercultural issues, and methodological innovations.
