Aims & Scope
Estudios sobre el Mensaje PeriodÃstico (ISSN 1134-1629, ISSN-e 1988-2696) is a three monthly scientific journal that attempts to encourage research into the expressive forms and social functions of journalism.
It publishes its articles in Spanish although it also accepts works in other widely-used languages such as English and French.
It is divided into three sections: Studies, a section devoted to a specific especially relevant topic proposed each year by the journal's Editorial Board; Research and Documents, a section devoted to works that meet the aforementioned aims of the journal; and Bibliography, a section that compiles criticism and reviews on works that tackle any important aspect of communicative journalism work.
