Founded in 1983 by the University of Lille 1, seat of its publication, Espace Populations Sociétés is a multidisciplinary, international and thematic review.

It is open and intended for scientists whose research topics cover the three key words that make up the title.

In addition to its thematic issues, the journal regularly publishes spontaneous articles in varias.
