Aims & Scope

Esboços: histories in global contexts is a triannual e-journal edited by the Graduate Program in History of the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil), whose main objective is to contribute to the debate on Global History.

Through the publication of articles, interviews and reviews, in Portuguese, Spanish, and English languages, the journal seeks to provide support for the debate around transcultural approaches, multiple integrations, connected, transnational, comparative and maritime histories, world-system, micro- and macro-scale processes, among other approaches of Global History.
