Encyclopaideia is an international peer reviewed journal, founded in 1996 at the University of Bologna by Piero Bertolini.

It publishes 3 issues per year.

According the phenomenological tradition of openness Encyclopaideia welcomes articles that come from a wide range of areas of education research and related disciplines.
