Aims & Scope
Droplet is a peer-reviewed international and cross-disciplinary open access journal to publish reviews, research papers, news and editorials that involve droplets, bubbles and related topics.
The journal covers the design, synthesis, fabrication, characterization, manipulation, control, application and commercialization of structures, devices and systems that involve droplets and related objects from microscopic to macroscopic scales.
Subject areas covered include, but are not limited to: -Experimental, theoretical and computational fluid dynamics containing droplets and bubbles- Fluid-structure interactions that involve droplets and bubbles- Microfluidics and nanofluidics related to droplets and bubbles- Biomimetic surfaces and interfaces involving droplets and bubbles- Soft matter and active material involving droplets and bubbles- Droplet-based 3D/4D printing- Water-energy nexus that includes droplets and bubbles- Droplets and bubbles in biological and bio-inspired systems- Thermal processes that engage droplets and bubbles- Novel applications of droplets and bubbles- Development and commercialization of products based on droplets and bubbles.
Droplet aims to provide an excellent platform for the dissemination of the cutting-edge research results in the general area of droplet & bubble.
All manuscripts are subject to critical, anonymous peer review.
