Aims & Scope

Discourse and Interaction is a peer-reviewed linguistics journal founded in 2008.

The journal is committed to present the outcomes of current research into aspects of negotiation of meaning in English language discourse and related stylistic and socio-pragmatic variation.

The study of discourse and interaction is understood as research into language with relevance to real-world problems and its aim is to reveal the stylistic diversity, non-homogeneity, and socio-pragmatic variety of language as these should be reflected in the teaching of English in academic settings.
