Aims & Scope
Discourse: Studies in the Cultural Politics of Education is a fully peer-reviewed, international journal publishing contemporary studies of education theory, policy and practice that provide new theoretical, methodological or empirical perspectives.
We publish articles that make original contributions to contemporary debates on social, cultural and political configurations of education.
All submissions must have a substantive focus on formal or informal education and be significant to an international readership.
The journal adopts a broadly critical orientation, but is not tied to particular ideological, theoretical or methodological positions.
We publish articles from various disciplinary perspectives, including comparative education, cultural studies, sociology, philosophy, history, geography and political science.
We encourage interdisciplinary approaches and the use of qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
