Aims & Scope

Created in 1995 at the initiative of Professor Margareta Gyurcsik, Dialogues francophones is a journal devoted to contemporary francophone literature.

It is edited by the Department of Romance Languages at the University of the West (Timisoara, Romania) and by the Timisoara Center for Francophone Studies.

Its readership and contributors are international.

Dialogues francophones aims at revealing the connections between francophone literature and literary theory, while it is also oriented towards comparative literature.

The journal is multidisciplinary and it encourages all forms and methods of research.

Each issue is comprised of miscellaneous papers (sometimes it is theme-based), reviews of recent works, interviews with writers and francophone scholars.
