Aims & Scope

DeporVida is an electronic academic journal, national and international, belonging to the University of Holguín, Cuba. With ISSN 1819-4028, its mission is to disseminate scientific production at local, national, and international levels in the areas of Physical Education and Recreation, Sports, Sports Medicine, and Applied Sciences, as well as Professional Formation, with the purpose of contributing to the formation and scientific updating of professionals and specialized readers in these branches of human knowledge.

With these objectives, DeporVida publishes contributions in mass as part of a number, in full text, in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. Its articles are of original, review, and reflection types. The publication frequency is continuous, meaning that works are received throughout the year, and contents will be available as they meet the standards of rigor derived from the reviews and arbitration, the level of originality, and ethics throughout the process.

The target audience consists of teachers, researchers, and students from national and international communities, professionals in these areas in general, and all those interested in increasing their knowledge in the field of these sciences.
