Aims & Scope
Critica del testo was founded in 1998 by Roberto Antonelli.
It draws its scientific profile from the long and reknown tradition of studies in Italian and Romance Philology; it is also however sensitive to the new perspectives resulting from the current crisis of traditional humanistic culture, which has demanded since the beginning of the XXth century a thorough rethinking of the metodologies needed to approach our disciplines, and of our very perception of what we regard as textual criticism and indeed of how to define what a 'text' actually is.
