Aims & Scope
Communication & Society is an online journal founded in 1988.
Formerly known as Comunicación y Sociedad, it has been published entirely in English since the October 2014 issue, with the option of a Spanish version.
Issues are published online and open access in June and December (with articles made available monthly through an "early access" publication model).
C&S is international in scope and open to scholars and researchers from around the world, Communication & Society attempts to cover a range of topics within the field of communication and media studies.
Its main goal is to make outstanding research contributions to the field of communication from a variety of perspectives, both theoretical and empirical.
It includes journalism studies, advertising, public relations, broadcast and film studies, political communication, ethics, media history, communication policy, political economy, marketing and new media, among others.
Methodological and theoretical rigor and valuable and original research results are required for review and publication.
