Aims & Scope
CÃrculo de LingüÃstica aplicada a la Comunicación (ISSN-e 1576-4737) proposes to disseminate in Spanish and English knowledge on communication provided by linguistic theory applied to actual use.
Its four annual issues (February, May, September, November) include articles and reviews.
The scope of the journal covers different areas of theoretical and applied linguistics about Spanish, English and Chinese.
Below is a list of the specialties of interest: - Acquisition - Language alterations. - Non-verbal communication. - Dialectology. - Discourse.
These types of studies must focus on linguistic considerations, so not all work carried out from the perspective of Critical Discourse Analysis will be accepted. - Spanish/English/Chinese as a foreign language and/or as a second language. - Philosophy of language. - Phonetics. - Phonology. - Linguistic historiography. - History of the language. - Sign language. - Lexicography. - Lexicology. - Applied linguistics. - Cognitive linguistics. - Computational linguistics. - Corpus linguistics. - Forensic linguistics. - Historical linguistics. - Theoretical linguistics. - Morphology. - Neurolinguistics. - Pragmatics. - Psycholinguistics. - Rhetoric. - Semantics. - Syntax. - Sociolinguistics. - Terminology. - Typology. - Language variations.
The work presented must fall within one of these lines.
Additionally, it must be the name of the line (as listed here) be at the top of your proposal's keyword list.
If you have done work on other topics, such as teaching or translation, we recommend that you turn to another publication.
The languages ​​in which CLAC accepts articles and reviews are Spanish and English.
