Our scope includes:

Artistic and expressive practices in the post-media age, such as the intersection of art, technology, and culture;

Processes of adaptation and intermedial translation, including the transformation of media formats and the exchange between different art forms;

Forms and dynamics of interactive and transmedia narratives, including the role of digital media in shaping storytelling and audience engagement;

Forms and dynamics of videoludic cultures, including the intersection of video games and film;

Forms and dynamics of “convergent” consumption, including the impact of digital media on audience behavior and cultural production;

New theoretical approaches to film and media products, including the application of new methodologies and frameworks to the study of cinema and media;

Contemporary transnational film histories, cultures and economies, including the global circulation of film and media products and the impact of globalization on local cultures.
