Aims & Scope
CALR Linguistic Journal is an open-access e-journal for scholars, researchers, and teachers working in the field of applied linguistics and English Language Teaching.
It seeks to collect, organize, and disseminate information and research on the new trends in applied linguistics and English language teaching and learning.
CALR Linguistic Journal is a fully refereed journal with an editorial board of scholars in the fields of applied linguistics, English language education and associated fields such as literature and translation, culture, education, media, and computer-assisted language learning.
CALR Linguistic Journal adopts double blind peer reviews in which both authors and referees are anonymous.
Submissions are invited by people working or researching areas of applied linguistics, language education, translation studies, culture, media, and computer-assisted or online education.
All submissions undergo double blind peer-review where every manuscript gets evaluated by two independent experts on the subject matter.
CALR Linguistic Journal is supported by the Centre for Applied Linguistic Research at the Arab Open University and has affiliations with the British Association for Applied Linguistics (BAAL).
The Centre for Applied Linguistic Research organizes an annual conference, workshops, and seminars as well as establishes joint activities with universities and educational institutions.
