BoletÃn americanista is a scientÃfic journal published by Scientific Journals of the University of Barcelona (RCUB) and Editions UB.
Since 1959 is e forum for discussion of the hhistory of America, aimed at a specialized audience.
He dedicated to promoting academic productions, from the year 2010 established the biannual basis.
It aims to facilitate interdisciplinary discussion about the past and present of the American countries.
They accommodate research on the pre-columbian past, the colonial history as well as contemporary and modern history of the American republics, without excluding scientific fields such as anthropology, sociology or art.
The magazine accepts articles that draw comparisons with other geographical areas but American perspective.
