Aims & Scope

The Biommechanism and Bioenergy Research (BBR) journal is a semiannual international publication that focuses on the mechanisms of biological systems and the utilization of biomass as a source of renewable energy.

The journal covers two main areas: Biommechanism and Bioenergy. In Biommechanism, we welcome original articles on analytical, mathematical modeling, numerical techniques, and mechanical analysis of plant, food, animal, and human structures and tissues. In Bioenergy, we cover a wide range of topics, including bioenergy resources, chemical and biological processes, biomass residues, biomaterial processing, fermentations, thermochemical conversions, and analysis of biomass, biofuel, fuel, and energy properties of biomaterials.

All submitted articles undergo a rigorous peer-review process, with a minimum of two independent reviewers assessing the scientific quality of the paper. The editor makes the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of the articles.
