Aims & Scope
Bacteria (ISSN 2674-1334) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal focused on bacteriology.
It mainly publishes reviews, research papers, and communications, but other article types will also be considered.
Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results that represent rigorous experimental designs and robust analyses.
There is no restriction on the maximum length of the papers that can be submitted.
Full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be independently reproduced.
Electronic files and software showing the full details of the calculation or experimental procedure, if unable to be published within the text, should be deposited as supplementary electronic material suitable for reuse.
Scope: Bacterial genomics and evolution.
Comparative bacterial genomics.
Integrative methods for the bacterial physiology and systems biology of bacteria.
Population genomics in bacteria.
Integrative approaches for bacterial adaptation.
Bacterial development.
Bacterial structural biology.
Bacterial pathogenesis and host response.
